Excursion to the City and Melbourne Museum

On 7 August our new international students visited Melbourne Museum and explored the city.  This was part of their learning about PTV and local history content in their Language Centre classes. 

International Student Coordinator Training

Our International Student Coordinator, Belle Austriaco, attended the annual coordinator training at the Department of Education on 2 September.

The training brought International Student Coordinators from schools across Victoria together to share experiences, exchange ideas and stay up to date with changes across the Department. Sessions covered Mental Health Practitioners in schools, the Department’s policy on preventing and addressing racism in schools, as well as other recent policy updates.

It was a valuable opportunity to connect with colleagues from across the sector and bring new information and ideas back to TC.

Short-term Visiting students

Every Term 3 we have a handful of students who come study here as a short experience during their summer holidays. These students stay from 4 to 10 weeks. It’s been fantastic to have them with us and we wish them safe travels back home.
