A big term of sport
Term 3 has been a massive term of sport for TC! Our Senior Table Tennis, Badminton, Track & Field and Basketball teams have all had a great run.
Back in Term 1, our Senior Basketball, Badminton and Table Tennis teams all qualified for the Eastern Metropolitan Regional (EMR) Finals. Our Senior Basketball teams won the EMR Finals and progressed to the SSV State Finals. Our mixed-age Track & Field team had a successful day at the Mullum Division Track & Field round, with five of our students qualifying for the EMR Finals. Alongside our Senior team, our Year 7 Boys, Year 8 Boys, Year 8 Girls, Intermediate Boys and Intermediate Girls have all qualified for the EMR Finals. EMR events will be held in early Term 4.

State champions ๐
Our Senior Girls and Senior Boys teams deserve a massive congratulations. Both teams are SSV State Champions! Out of approximately 250 schools, Templestowe College is number one in the state.
This is a huge achievement, which could not have been made possible without the efforts of our ESDP coaches, including Ian Stacker, Eleanor Sharpe and Allison Tranquilli.
Thank you to all staff who volunteered to attend games, coached, drove buses or simply stood on the sideline supporting our students.
Congratulations to all involved, and good luck to our regional qualifiers in the next round.

Sport Skills NRL Incursions
This term students participated in three NRL sessions delivered by the NRL Game Development Officer.
These sessions provided students with the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills and rules of Rugby League in a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment. Students developed confidence, teamwork and game awareness while participating in physical activity.
