Welcome to TC
Templestowe College, or TC as we call ourselves, is a Victorian State school in Australia that is regarded internationally as one of the most innovative progressive schools focused on student empowerment and student centred learning. We are a school that has moved beyond student voice to enable our students to show true empowerment and action relating to the way in which the school runs and that they have had the opportunity to have Taken Control over their learning.
TC is a learning community of over 1200 people who are focused on meeting our vision of "to co-create high quality learning experiences within an inclusive and supportive community". We are also a member of a federation of schools who are working with a similar philosophy to enable over 4000 young people to experience true student centred learning.

The Project Hub
Students from TC have worked with our School’s IT Manager to create an online platform that allows students to showcase their authentic learning products to the world and connect to people of similar interests. It’s called Project Hub. This video (also made by students) tells the story behind the making of this platform.
2017 Premier’s VCE Awards
2016 Grad Xavier Roberts attended the VCE Premiers Award on Thursday 27th April at the Palladium Room, Crown to receive an award for his performance in VCE Systems Engineering. Through his hard work, he was one of only 3 students to receive the award in the subject for achieving the perfect study score of 50. Xaviers work is also on display at Top Designs which is currently exhibiting at the Melbourne Museum. This is well worth a visit to see the top VCE work in the State for Product Design and Technology, VCD, Media and Food Technology. Xavier was also one of our 2016 Valedictorians, as through his time not only had he achieved academic success, but he had also led students in the Design and Technology area of the school in both Design and Technology and Geek Studies. Xavier had also been developing his workplace skills at TC whilst working as a technician in our technology area of the Laser cutter, 3D printers and 3D scanners. This year, Xavier has begun his University course in the Bachelor of Science course at the University of Mebourne.
More than 1100 guests attended the prestigious award ceremony, in which the top-performing VCE students from 2016 were recognised for their outstanding academic results. A total of 320 awards were presented to 287 students, with many students receiving more than one award. These awards included 292 Study Awards for achievement in a single subject and three Top International Student awards. http://www.education.vic.gov.au/about/awards/Pages/vceawards.aspx
