Elite Dance Team
A massive congratulations to the TC elite dance squad who competed in the AASCF All Star Classic Comp last weekend 👯. The team came away with 🥇 First Place Lyrical and 🏆Grand Champion Scholastic section 🎉 a huge achievement!
Semester 2 Dance Showcase
This semester’s theme was Into the Wild and Dance A and B groups put on a fantastic show with performances inspired by the Animal Kingdom! Drama Suitcase Series
Performing on stage with everyone was so rewarding after all the work we had put into it. Being a director for our class I got to see how much work was put into this performance, not just in class but even outside of school when we were looking at props and costumes. The drama class grew closer through this performance as we got to work in areas we are passionate about whether that be directing, tech, costume and more. It was amazing seeing the other groups perform and their interpretations of the theme. Then we ended the day watching the play Who No Kno Go Kno, which was incredible watching the movement, sound, lighting and story.

Drama Semester 2 Showcase
They've done it again!
TC's Drama Elective classes were back in action in late November, presenting their Suitcase Series performances to an excited audience of family and friends. With pieces that had been updated and reworked since a Malthouse Theatre debut, two eager sets of students entertained and engaged the crowd, alerting the audience (both directly and indirectly) to the perils of climate change. 2025 school captains Will Genat and Eimear Cormack also performed, inspiring the next generation with their captivating VCE Drama solos!

Box Hill Electronic Music Excursion
Stage and Beyond students participated in an electronic music workshop at Box Hill Tafe and learnt about how pro artists incorporate digital software into their live performances.
Busking at Macedon
Last week TC musos hit the streets busking, fundraising for Lifeline. Students prepared a live set of three songs to perform and share with the local community. Well done on your efforts and showcasing TC music to our wider community 🎶🎸🎙️
Song Club
This year has seen some wonderful performances by 'Songclub'. Songclub is a TC Music ensemble and has voice, piano, guitar, violin, viola and cello instrumental students of different ages and experience who rehearse together every Tuesday lunchtime. Last term the group performed 'Come on Elieen' and this term 'Let you down' at the lunchtime Stage dive gigs, demonstrating a variety of genres. The ensemble is also open to students of any standard who are not currently learning instrumental music at TC. We would love to see our string section continue to grow, lead by the wonderful string teacher Hope Csutoros!
