Drama Solo Practice Performances

The 3/4 Drama Solo Exams are coming up soon, so what better place to try them out than in our very own TC PAC? Across two action-packed nights students presented their self-devised pieces, with characters ranging from detectives to knights to Loraxes! There was mystery, thrills, spills, chills - a wide spectrum of emotions were on show, both on stage and in the audience. With this under their belt, the class now look bravely forward to the external exam - wish them luck for me!

The Push Music Careers Expo

Featuring workshops, presentations and information stalls, the Music Careers Expo is a fun and interactive way for aspiring musicians and music industry professionals to learn about the various career pathways in music, as well as meet one-on-one with artists, industry practitioners and education providers who can provide young musicians with tailored advice. 

It was wonderful to see our Stage & Beyond students engage with so many music industry professionals on the day. Many took the opportunity to play their recent recordings to industry pros such as Matt Voigt from Box Hill Tafe. Matt was blown away by our bands: "I love that I keep meeting TC students that are producing such great work!"

Probably the best part of the day is being able to meet other young musicians from all over Victoria. Networking and connecting with other bands online is a great way to build your own music scene and support each other on gigs.
