VCE VM

VM Escape Room

The VM Grads in Unit 3/4 Personal Development Skills class successfully planned, designed, and ran a space-themed escape room for the TC community.

The theme for the 2026 Escape Room was ‘Lost in Space’ and participants were faced with the challenge of working together to solve puzzles designed by the VM students. The project highlighted students’ teamwork, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills from initial brainstorming through to the delivery of the project.

2027 VCE VM applications

For current FLE 3 students only

Current FLE 3 students are invited to apply for the 2027 VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM) program.

Example of a possible timetable

The VCE VM is a practical and flexible senior secondary pathway designed for students who enjoy hands-on learning and want to develop skills for further education, training, apprenticeships, traineeships or employment. It combines literacy, numeracy, personal development and work-related learning with vocational education opportunities.

To learn more about the VCE VM and whether it may be the right pathway for you, please visit this link VM Information — TC Subject Selection Handbook . Here you will find:

  • Information on the VCE VM and how it works

  • The 2027 VCE VM application form

Further information can be found on the Victorian Governments VCE VM web page VCE VM Vic Gov

Applications for the 2027 VCE VM program close on Friday 24 July. Applications received after this date will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Students and their parents/carers will be invited to attend an interview early in Term 3 to discuss their suitability for the program.

Please note that Vocational Education and Training (VET) is a compulsory component of the VCE VM program. Students considering this pathway should also visit this link VET External — TC Subject Selection Handbook to learn more about the VET options available and access the VET application form.

As places in the VCE VM program may be limited, students who are considering this pathway are encouraged to submit an application. You can always decline an offer at a later date if you decide that another pathway is a better fit.

If you have any questions about the VCE VM pathway or the application process, please contact Leija Harman at LHA@tc.vic.edu.au
