Interschool Sport Term 2

Term 2 has been another fantastic season of sport at Templestowe College, with students proudly representing the school across a wide range of interschool competitions.

A special congratulations goes to Grace Richards, who qualified for the SSV State Swimming Championships and achieved an outstanding 3rd place in the state. We also congratulate Eden Bayley, Hazel Dowell-Silva, and Jessica Ryles, who have qualified for the SSV State Cross Country Championships to be held next term. We wish them all the best as they prepare to compete against the state's top athletes.

Throughout the term, our students participated in numerous Senior, Intermediate and Junior competitions, including AFL, netball, soccer, badminton and cross country. It has been wonderful to see so many students embracing the opportunity to represent the Templestowe College.

A huge thank you to all of our dedicated staff who have generously given their time to supervise and support students at these events. We look forward to another exciting term of sport in Term 3!

Athletics and Indigenous Games Day

Thank you to all staff and students who got involved in our Athletics and Indigenous Games day on Tuesday 19 May. It was great to see so many students out competing and enjoying themselves. Congratulations to all our winner and to everyone who hit the track or field to give it a go!

Sport Skills golf excursion

To celebrate the end of the semester and the completion of our golf unit, sport skills students attended Yarra Bend Golf Course.

This active and authentic experience was designed to extend and apply the skills developed during lessons in a real-world setting. During the excursion, students had the opportunity to transfer these skills to both mini golf and driving range environments, which require different approaches and decision-making.
