Social Circle's final session

This week marked Social Circle’s final session. Students used the skills they have learned throughout the program- connection, confidence building, teamwork, communication, and active listening to plan and host a party.

To celebrate, students created a schedule of their favorite activities from the program which, of course, included snack time. TC provided snacks but some students made homemade baked goods to share🧁

We are so grateful to the students who participated in the program and displayed open-mindedness so that everyone felt comfortable to learn and grow🌱. Students shared their biggest takeaways- a greater sense of belonging, and new friendships after participating in the social circle program! The Social Circle facilitators hope to find future opportunities to run the program again💛🫶

Almost Archies Portrait Event in Arts Hub Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th May @ Lunchtime.

The Almost Archies is a brand new community event happening at lunchtime on Monday and Tuesday of Week 6!

Inspired by the famous Archibald Prize 🏆, this art event is all about getting to know TC staff through portrait drawing. We’d love to see students capture not just what a staff member looks like, but their personality too — through colour, symbols, style and creative imagery 🎭🌈

Animals Trivia - Save the date and reserve a table

Our annual Animals Trivia Night is happening on Friday 24 July — and we’d love to see you there!

🎟️ Tickets: $25 each - bookings will open after table reservations.

This year, we’re simplifying the booking process to make it easier for friends and families to sit together.

Want to reserve a table?

  • Tables comfortably seat 10 people

  • If you think you can fill a table, we can reserve one in your name

  • Your friends can then book directly onto your named table through TryBooking

📧 To reserve a table, please email Duncan: dsadler@tc.vic.edu.au

Won't have a big group?

No problem! Once the Trybooking link is released, you’ll still be able to book tickets and join a “small groups” table on the night.

Once table reservations are finalised, we’ll release the booking link to the TC community.

We hope you can join us for a fun night supporting our exciting and innovative Animals Program.

Athletics and Indigenous games day

Next Tuesday 19 May we will hold our annual Athletics and Indigenous Games Day. There will be many activities and events to check out, including regular Athletics events, multiple traditional Indigenous games, Mario Kart console battles, and even a dance competition!

Athletics is a great way to take a break from school to hang out with friends, get involved in community spirit and (try to!) win some ribbons.

If any of these activities sound like something you’re interested in, make sure to get your carer to sign the consent on Compass so you can come.

🕗 The day runs from 8:45am–2:30pm and will take place at the George St Athletics Track 🏃‍♀️🏅
🚌 Panorama buses will drop students directly at the track.
🚗 However, there will be no transport from TC at the end of the day, so all families must ensure they have organised transport to and from the track. I hope to see you all there wearing your community colour!
