First Day 2025

For Entry students, the first day of school in 2025 is another orientation day to smooth the transition into regular classes. Other students will not be on site so Entries will have the school to themselves!

WHEN: Thursday 30 January 9.10am- 3.30pm
Please do not arrive prior to 8.45am as there will not be any staff available for supervision

WHERE: SWING (MAP LINK)

WHAT TO BRING: Please bring your own hats, lunch, drinks, and snacks for the day. The canteen will not be open on this day, but there will be a free sausage sizzle provided. Students will also need to bring their laptops (with username and password) as we will begin education around our IT platforms.

PLAN FOR THE DAY: Students will spend some of their time in Community Groups doing orientation activities, and some of their time in classes with their future teachers.

All Entry students will be given a lock for their lockers and a TC diary.

COFFEE AND CHAT FOR PARENTS/CARERS: All Entry 2025 Parents /Carers are welcome to drop their child off at Swing and join other parents for a coffee and chat from 9:00 in the Hub. Tea/Coffee muffins and croissants will be supplied.

IT (Laptop) arrangements over the holiday break

IT will be open from Monday 13 January for you to drop off or pick up your laptops. Please register prior to attending Self-Service User Portal @ TC

TC HOODIE ORDER

Use your schools saving bonus for school hoodies! 
Please select ‘school activities’ in the parent portal to have the funds sent to the school and then send an email to connect@tc.vic.edu.au with your student/s name/size/design and we will place the order for you.

A reminder that parents and carers are not permitted to enter Swing or any other area of the school without first visiting the front office to sign in.

Driving through the school grounds

During drop off and pick up times parking is STRICLY ONE WAY. Mon, Tue, Thurs (8.30-9.15am & 3.15-3.45pm) & Wed & Fri (8.30-9.15am & 1.45pm- 2.15pm).

  • Do not stop in front of the school as it a NO STANDING area.

  • Durning school hours all traffic must exit through the front gates.

Where can I find out Times of the day, buses and other questions that I have about the day to day running of the school?

Getting to know TC is full of information that covers all areas of the day to day running of the school. These include (click on the pictures to see the relevant information):

Where can I find information on TC Buses?

Updated bus routes, to and from TC, can be found by clicking here These services are a user pays system, and all users will require a MYKI card to tap on or off when using them.

The 2025 Book List is now available. Our supplier is Campion. Please follow this link and create a login to start ordering.

Do new Entry students need a Computer?

Yes, all students will need a computer for the start of the school year. You will need to book this computer in with the IT department prior to the commencement of 2025. IT will be open from Monday 13 January for you to drop off or pick up your laptops. Please register prior to attending Self-Service User Portal @ TC
