These pages aim to document the policies and processes that allow TC to operate fairly, efficiently and consistently.
The TC Community operates on the assumption that all members will treat one another with a high level of respect. This standard is applied equally regardless of the person’s age or role within the school and is referred to as our “One Person Policy”. We have worked with students and staff to develop a set of common rules that guide all members of the TC Community. TC has the behavioural expectations of a well-functioning home, workplace or tertiary institution, which ensures a positive working environment for all and supports students to maximise their learning.
Hopefully we will forever remain true to pursuing our vision (however that vision itself might change over time) and to keep “yes” as the default answer to any request, unless it takes too much time, too much money or negatively impacts on someone else, rather than be tied in to a way of doing things simply because the Operations Manual says we should operate that way.
As an open community we welcome discussion and debate on any policy or procedure.
